Day 2: Thinking and Planning

Updated: Dec 10, 2020

Today we continued to plan our algorithm. We started by identifying the variable types that would be needed for each value in our program, such as the board, the column number, the row number, etc. We also started typing our notes in a more orderly fashion, since it was the most effective way of grouping all of our ideas together in one place.

We also started imagining what the "flow" of the program should be, and how it should function. This is an effective way of describing the algorithm because it gives us a "skeleton" around which we can create our program.

Day 2 ended with a final once-over of the text file (shown below) that houses our algorithm brainstorming. We also planned to get our environments running outside of class, so we would be able to program outside of class. We also began our website.
